As songwriters and performers that grew up in the Rocky Mountain West, Slopeside is a captivating band whose favorite venues include local music festivals and charitable events. Stories of the road influence the band’s collective sound and lyrics. A five-piece band with seven full-length original albums released, they boast an expansive blend of rock, blues, pop, with a taste of country. Known as a “band with a big heart,” Slopeside believes in music as a way to raise their collective voice to support positive change in their communities.
Slopeside boasts an impressive track record of achievements that speak volumes about their dedication and talent. “Keep This Thing Alive” clinched a top spot in the 2021 Colorado Music Business Organization Songwriting Competition and was featured on the compilation CD distributed at the Durango Songwriter’s Festival. Beyond musical accolades, the band makes a significant impact on their community by raising tens of thousands of dollars for local charities and organizations, including Grand County Search and Rescue, Colorado Pet Pantry, Sarcoma Foundation, and Wounded Warriors. Performing at more than 75 music venues, including repeat appearances at popular festivals like the Colorado People’s Fair, the Town of Parker’s Fourth of July, and the Hideaway Park Summer Music Series, Slopeside solidified their reputation as a sought-after act in the western region. Their seven albums garnered radio play in Colorado since 2005, showcasing an enduring presence and influence in the local music scene.
